History

Clear Creek Cemetery lies east of Bangs in Brown County, on land donated by L.L. and Mary W. Childress through a deed dated April 13, 1901. Its oldest grave is that of A.E. Starkey, who died in 1879, and the grounds are kept up by an active cemetery association.
