History

Ross Cemetery is a small, still-tended burial ground between Bronte and Blackwell in northeastern Coke County, near the Texanna Ranch. It holds roughly two dozen marked graves along with a number of unmarked ones, its burials spanning the early and mid-20th century—among them World War I veteran Earl Moore (1892–1945). The cemetery lies along the county's edge in the ranch country north of Bronte.
