History
The Old Ennis High School is a red-brick, Tudor Revival building with contrasting stone trim designed by the prominent Fort Worth architectural firm Sanguinet & Staats and completed in 1916. It served as the city's high school from 1916 until 1982, is Ennis's oldest surviving school building, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, distinguished by its pointed-arched central entrance, polygonal corner towers, and diagonal brick patterning.
