History

The E. K. Atwood House in Ennis was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 as part of the Historic Resources of Ennis nomination. It is one of the Victorian and early-20th-century residences documented in the citywide historic-resources survey that recognized dozens of Ennis homes built during the railroad-and-cotton boom of 1890 to 1920.
