History

Center Union Cemetery occupies about four acres northeast of the junction of County Roads 240 and 426 near Thompsonville, on land acquired for burials by the Center Union Missionary Baptist Church. Long associated with that congregation, the cemetery has frequently been mislabeled 'St. Union' on maps, an error that local records have worked to correct.
