History

This Mexican-American cemetery serves Wrightsboro, a Gonzales County community settled about 1851 and named for early Alabama settler L. C. Wright. The town had a Baptist church by 1871 and around a hundred residents by the 1920s, and it maintained separate burial grounds for its communities.
