History

Brigham Cemetery sits on a wooded rise between Campbell and Commerce in Hunt County, entered through a lichgate and holding burials that reach back into the 1800s, including graves of Civil War-era residents. Local folklore tells of an outlaw buried in an unusual north-to-south grave just outside the main cemetery fence.
