History

Forest Park Cemetery, also known historically as the Horne Cemetery, is a large public burial ground on Business Highway 69 South in Greenville. Maintained by the City of Greenville's Parks and Recreation Department, it holds more than 6,500 recorded interments across numerous sections and, together with East Mount Cemetery, makes up much of the city's public cemetery acreage.
