History

Haidusek Cemetery is a small family burial ground of about eleven graves set out in a pasture on private property off County Road 16, south of the community of Vienna in Lavaca County. Its oldest marked burial is that of John Haidusek, who died January 1, 1920. The Haidusek surname, of Czech origin, appears in several cemeteries across the county, marking an established local immigrant family.
