History

Fuller Cemetery is a family burial ground on private property along County Road 132 in Lavaca County that remains in use today. Its oldest marked grave is that of James William Strode, who died around 1895 to 1900. Iron crosses and granite headstones stand among the graves, and several veterans are buried here; the family completed a survey of the cemetery in 2004 for the Texas cemetery survey project.
