History

Bruhl's Drugstore was founded in Llano in 1900 by German immigrant Louis H. Bruhl and later occupied a building overlooking the Llano River. The A.H. Bruhl family gave the building to the Llano County Historical Society in 1965, and it now houses the Llano County Historical Museum, preserving its marble soda fountain and leather stools along with local artifacts.
