History

This cemetery lies in the Calf Creek area of southwestern McCulloch County, the farming community about twelve miles southwest of Brady that was known as Deland and then Tucker before taking the name Calf Creek in 1915. Baptist and Methodist churches organized there in 1903, and the community's school operated until it consolidated with the Brady schools in 1949.
