The American Airways Hangar and Administration Building opened in 1933 at Fort Worth's Meacham Field, built by American Airways (now American Airlines) at a cost of $150,000. Designed by Russian-born architect Abraham Epstein in an Art Moderne style, the reinforced-concrete and steel structure clad in buff brick is the oldest building at Meacham Field, its corner pilasters carrying the American Airways eagle in bas-relief. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 16, 2008.
