History
This Abilene residence was designed by architect David S. Castle in 1919 and completed the following year at a cost of about $17,000 for merchant T. C. Campbell. Campbell had worked for retailer Will Minter from 1900 to 1903 before opening his own dry-goods store at North 2nd and Pine in 1912. The house is one of the properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 under the Historic and Architectural Resources of Abilene multiple-property submission.
