History

Potosi Cemetery serves the rural community of Potosi, southeast of Abilene in Taylor County, and is cared for by the Potosi Cemetery Association. It contains roughly 1,900 marked graves and reflects the area's settlement by farming and ranching families. Among its recorded burials is a young girl who died on a wagon train passing through the area.
