History

Buena Vista Cemetery holds the graves of the Hispanic laborers and families who built and worked the community of Buena Vista, a farming settlement that grew from an early-1900s land-development venture in northern Pecos County. The Texas Historical Commission has designated the site a Historic Texas Cemetery.
