History

The George and Adele Hauschild House was a historic Victoria residence associated with pioneer businessman George Herman Hauschild and his wife Adele Luder Hauschild, who married in 1866 and ran the Hermann House hotel before he founded his downtown music and opera-house business. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 within the 'Historic Resources of Victoria, Texas' submission; the property is now flagged as possibly demolished.
