History
The Grandfalls Union Church was built in 1910 by three Protestant congregations and was the first church building in Grandfalls, a town founded in 1897. Its "Union" name reflects the non-denominational arrangement that welcomed Protestants of several faiths to share the building. The simplified Gothic Revival structure is distinguished by a series of stained-glass windows and was recorded as a Texas Historic Landmark in 1966.
