History
The old Brenham High School was designed by the Austin architectural firm Giesecke & Harris and built in 1927-1928 in the Classical Revival style, with a symmetrical red-brick facade, cast-stone detailing and steel casement windows. The building served as the town's high school until 1964 and as a middle school until 1987, after which it became a community education building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
