History
The Brenham High School Gymnasium adjoins the 1928 Classical Revival high school in Brenham and is documented as a New Deal-era public works project of the 1930s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 in connection with the historic high school. The gymnasium reflects the federal investment in Texas school facilities during the Depression years.
