History

Willard Cemetery is a historic rural burial ground outside Winnsboro in Wood County, at the junction of Highway 11 and County Road 4412. It contains the graves of many pioneer families of the area, including the Willards for whom it is named, along with military markers spanning both World Wars. The cemetery was documented in the 1971 survey published as 'Cemeteries of Wood County, Texas.'
