History

Medlan Cemetery, also recorded as Medlan Chapel Cemetery, lies about four miles south of Graham in south-central Young County. The name honors A. B. Medlan, an early settler who served as Young County's first treasurer, and it is shared by the nearby Medlan Branch, a creek that runs south to the Brazos River.
