History

Pleasant Hill Cemetery sits southwest of Bullard in northwestern Cherokee County, on the east side of FM 2137 near its junction with FM 855. Marked burials began in the mid-1850s, making it one of the older cemeteries in this part of the county, with later interments becoming rare and the last recorded in 1989. The well-maintained graveyard is enclosed by a chain-link fence; its Texas Historical Commission cemetery number is CE-C129.
