History
Fred Florence Hall on the Southern Methodist University campus was built in 1924 in the Georgian Revival style, designed by DeWitt & Lemmon. Originally named Kirby Hall and built to house the SMU School of Theology, it was renamed for banker Fred Florence in 1951 when it became home to the School of Law. It was listed on the National Register in 1980 as one of ten early Georgian Revival buildings that form SMU's historic campus core.
