History
The Levi-Moses House at 2433 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (formerly Forest Avenue) was designed by architect H.A. Overbeck with a mix of Italianate, Renaissance Revival and Prairie School details. Built in the Edgewood Addition of 1912, it was one of the residences of prominent Jewish families who settled in South Dallas near Temple Emanu-El; it was first owned by Charles G. Levi and later his son-in-law Jacob Moses. It was listed on the National Register in 1995 for its architecture.
