History
The Jesse and Mary Story House once stood at 510 W. Brown Street in Ennis and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 within the 'Historic Resources of Ennis, Texas' nomination. The property has since been lost; it is now marked as demolished. Its listing documented the residential fabric of Ennis's historic west side during the railroad-town era.
