History
John Richardson came to Texas in 1834 and fought at the Battle of San Jacinto in Captain James Gillaspie's company. He is buried in Houston's Founders Memorial Cemetery among the Texas Revolution veterans honored with Texas Centennial monuments placed during the 1936 restoration.
