History

Kuykendall Cemetery is a small pioneer family burying ground in Hunt County holding graves of the Kuykendall family from the mid-nineteenth century, among the earliest being Joseph L. Kuykendall (1831-1855) and Lucinda M. Kuykendall (1839-1856). Other family members interred here died in the 1850s through the 1880s, making it one of the county's older family cemeteries.
