History

Hillebrandt Cemetery lies southwest of Beaumont off Little Acres Road, tucked along Hillebrandt Bayou and named for the pioneer Hillebrandt family. The family of Christian E.Z. Hillebrandt (1830-1906), whose Danish-born father had settled in the Sabine Pass area by 1850, is associated with the small cemetery and the neighboring bayou that both bear the name.
