History

This is one of the Rogers Home markers in the historic river-port town of Jefferson. Long known as the General Rogers home and later the Presbyterian Manse, the house is considered among the oldest residences in Jefferson and is tied to the Rogers family, prominent in the town's early civic life. It stands among the many antebellum landmarks that define Jefferson's preserved 19th-century streetscape.
