History

Maryneal Cemetery lies about three miles west of the small town of Maryneal in southern Nolan County. The land was donated by Oscar Russell and a Mr. Farrar and formally deeded on May 6, 1919, though the oldest marked grave — that of A. F. Rogge — dates to 1915. Roughly 200 people are buried there, including about ten in unmarked graves.
