The McMillen Apartments, a three-story brick building at 1320 South Fillmore Street just north of Sanborn Park, were built in 1926 with central hallways and regularly spaced windows behind a low stepped parapet. The building's northeast corner was cut away in 1966 to make room for a US Highway 287 entrance ramp. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
