History

Pine Hill Cemetery in northern Red River County near Detroit grew up around the Pine Hill Baptist Church. A 1906 deed transferred a tract of the Elisha Simmons survey from Cora C. Perot to the church for the burial ground. The oldest marked grave is that of Jane Mims, who died in 1889.
