History

The First National Bank Building at 711 Houston Street in Fort Worth's Sundance Square was built in 1910 to designs by Sanguinet & Staats. The eleven-story commercial block, with Beaux-Arts ornamentation, was expanded to seven bays wide in 1926 following plans by Wyatt C. Hedrick. Also known as the Baker Building, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
