History

The I.O.O.F. (Odd Fellows) Cemetery is one of the historic sections of Abilene's municipal cemetery on Cottonwood Street, first deeded in August 1906. The city assumed care of the grounds in 1928. It adjoins the Masonic, City, and Cedar Hill sections, which together contain more than 26,000 burials from across Abilene's history.
