History

The Washington's Birthday Celebration Association Museum in Laredo documents the city's famous annual fiesta honoring George Washington, first celebrated in 1898 and now the largest such celebration in the United States. Located at 920 Zaragoza Street with free admission, the museum displays costumes, photographs, and memorabilia including formal gowns worn by Martha Washington pageant winners and regalia used in the WBCA parade.
