History

The Monthalia Catholic Cemetery lies near the site of Monthalia, reached by way of FM 466 south of Gonzales, and includes a Mexican-American section alongside its older graves. Records of the main cemetery were transcribed in 1977, and the Mexican-American side was separately inventoried in 1997.
