History
Shiloh Church was organized near Clarksville in Red River County by Milton Estell about 1833, making it one of the oldest continuously serving Protestant congregations in Texas. The Cumberland Presbyterian congregation formed on the present site in 1847 under first minister Finis Ewing King. The current building was erected in 1872 and remodeled in 1946.
