History

Dillard Cemetery sits on the east bank of Dillard Creek south of Avery in Red River County, the resting place of the Dillard family. Its oldest marked grave, that of Wm. N. Dillard, dates to 1865, and remnants of an ornate turn-of-the-century iron fence still surround the family plot.
