History

Built in 1915 in Orange, Texas, this two-story building served as a Woodmen of the World fraternal lodge meeting hall and specialty store and later housed the Heritage Museum of Orange. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996, but after damage from Hurricane Rita in 2005 and irreparable damage from Hurricane Ike in 2008, it was demolished in June 2010 and formally delisted that November.
